Welcome to our lighting and controls business in Arkansas! In 2011 we opened Porter Lighting and Controls, a new office to service the Arkansas, Western Tennessee, and Northern Mississippi markets under the same Porter name that our supply business had operated for many years. In 2018 the name was officially changed to Bell & McCoy Lighting and Controls. Our team operates from a 10,000sqft facility located on the outskirts of downtown Little Rock where we provide sales, warehousing, customer service, design assistance, and project management for customers across the territory. Our office is well equipped for training and our teams enjoy hosting events for customers and industry partners. Cole McLarty
Cole McLarty is part of our inside sales team at Bell & McCoy. He graduated from University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a major in Agriculture Business. Prior to joining the Bell & McCoy team, Cole participated in different internships during the summer since he started college. He is known for being a hard worker, eager to learn, and a team player.
Cole is originally from Little Rock, AR. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and golfing. He has a dog named Luna, she is a german shorthair pointer.
Fun fact: Cole is a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.

Jason Lopez
Jason Lopez is a senior accountant for Bell & McCoy. He attended Arizona State University and graduated with a B.A. in Corporate Accounting. Prior to joining the Bell & McCoy team, Jason worked in the field of aviation. He is known for being funny, honest, and hardworking.
Jason is originally from Phoenix, AZ. Outside of work, Jason enjoys cooking, exercising, and reading. He is married to a 7th generation Houstonian and they have a dog.
Fun fact: Jason graduated from culinary school and is a certified sommelier.
Dane Johnson promoted to Director of Sales!
Bell & McCoy is excited to announce the promotion of Dane Johnson to Director of Sales – North Texas.
Dane is currently the General Manager for Bell & McCoy’s Arkansas and Kansas operations. He has earned this position through relentless hard work, determination, and a commitment rarely seen in the industry. A Texas State University graduate, Dane brings strong leadership and unwavering dedication to our team.
Dane is known for his outgoing personality, his passion for collecting bourbon, being ambidextrous, and his proud claim of having the most beautiful wife in the world.

Josh Obenshain promoted to General Manager!

Josh has been an outstanding member of our Outside Sales team, consistently demonstrating hard work, dedication, and a strong commitment to our customers and our company. His deep industry knowledge, proven sales expertise, and unwavering work ethic have made a significant impact on our success.
A native of Huntsville, Arkansas, Josh brings over 20 years of hands-on experience in the electrical industry. Before joining BMC, he spent 12 years working for an electrical contractor followed by 4 years in outside sales at an electrical distributor. As a proud father of two (Braylen and Ella), Josh balances his professional drive with a love for the outdoors, whether he’s fishing on his boat, hunting, or helping his parents on the family farm.
